The Importance of Early Detection in Breast Cancer

Breast cancer continues to be one of the most common cancers worldwide, but the good news is that early detection saves lives. Regular self-examinations, clinical check-ups, and mammograms significantly increase the chances of survival. Women who identify lumps or unusual changes early often undergo less aggressive treatment and recover faster. In fact, survival rates are as high as 90% when breast cancer is detected at Stage 0 or 1.
